The Story: When Rachelle Show was looking to make her debut music video she reached out to Andy Lovett to direct and shoot, who in turn contacted me to join him on set to capture behind-the-scenes photos. At the first studio location, I focused on getting photos of Rachelle while she was in the middle of performing, focusing on capturing the passion radiating off her as she sung each note. When we transitioned to our second locale, a church, I explored the depth and textures of the gorgeous gothic architecture, framing subjects within pointed archways or in front of the natural light streaming in through the stained glass windows. Ultimately these photos were used to promote the video before it’s release across social media.
